The latest home sales data shows that the market is still healthy and still favoring homeowners. Compared to this time last year, home values were up slightly at 2.2% ($219,565) for single-family homes, while condos increased a solid 4.4% ($171,847). Additionally, the number of home sales were up significantly by 6.3%. The average days on market, however, increased by 2 days. (Shelby County Only)
The median residential price for a single-family home was $219,595 and for condos, it was $171,847. This compares to last year’s median residential and condo prices of $214,846 and $164,682 respectively.
There were 527 pending sales at the end of September. The average number of days on the market for a single-family home was 41 days.
